VILLANO BAND INFORMATION
D o you have a child who is interested in joining the Villano Band Program?

Playing an instrument and being involved in music is a fun and challenging part of a child's education. At Villano we offer a great band program where students have the opportunity to play in 3 different bands and a jazz band for students in grades 4 through 6. It is never too late to begin playing an instrument. There have been many 5th and 6th graders who have started an instrument later, worked hard, and seen success.

Students may start playing an instrument early in the Emerson Summer Music Program or they can wait until September to begin. If you are interested  please see the Beginner Band letter  and have your child return the instrument choices form to Mr. Baruch.

The best time to turn in the form is before  Wednesday, May 31st
in order for students to get an opportunity to try out instrum ents. However, students may turn in the form later and students will be able to join the band program until the end of September.

Any other questions feel free to contact Mr. Baruch at abaruch@emersonschools.org
