Happy Father's Day!
As we reach the final week of school, the hallways are filled with the bittersweet energy of closure and new beginnings. It has been a truly remarkable year, one defined by the resilience, curiosity, and incredible spirit of our students. From the creativity showcased in our music and art programs to the perseverance and learning celebrated through the Fourth Grade State Fair, TREP$ program, and our Sixth Grade Expo, our students have consistently impressed us with their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
This week, we will have the honor of celebrating our sixth grade students, recognizing their hard work in areas ranging from academic achievement and digital citizenship to community leadership and Safety Patrol service. Watching these students grow into confident and compassionate individuals has been the highlight of our year. Whether through collaborative projects, band and chorus performances, or daily acts of kindness, our students have truly made Villano Elementary a better place. As our sixth graders move on to the next chapter of their educational journey, I have no doubt they carry with them the skills and character needed to succeed and make a positive impact.
As we look toward summer break, we hope your families enjoy a season of rest, connection, and adventure. We also encourage our students to carry their love of learning into the summer months. To support their continued growth, we invite you to explore these opportunities:

Summer Math & Reading Challenges -- Keep those academic skills sharp! You can access all the details and materials through the above link.
SEL Bingo Board -- Our SEL committee has designed an SEL Bingo Board to inspire new ways to practice self-care, mindfulness, and creativity. Students who complete the entire board can look forward to a special prize when we return in September. Even without aiming for the prize, we hope these activities spark joy and new habits throughout the summer.
Thank you for your partnership in making this year such a success for our children. Wishing you all a safe, refreshing, and happy summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall to begin another exciting year of learning together.

Information about the interactive app for viewing daily lunch menus is explained below. This would be the best way to get the most up-to-date information on what is for lunch on a particular day. Sometimes, the menu posted at the beginning of the month needs to be changed due to shipment delays or other unavoidable factors.
